With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning…Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.A SnapshotAs the Senior Technical Services Manager, you will report to the Operations Director and work closely with the rest of the Operations team, making your mark in a number of ways:Oversee critical environment maintenance planning activities at your data centreLead, mentor, and train a team of Technical Services Managers, and contract management of site facilities providers for the tactical delivery of maintenance activitiesWork closely with Building Services Manager on other property related mattersYour Day to DayEffectively manage the site and achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customers' SLAs and safetyOversee the planning and coordination of all preventive maintenance and repair works; ensure change management, incident management procedures and safety requirements are followed; coordinate activities as required with customersCoordinate with development team to manage construction activity and installations, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standardsReview and support customer capacity management plan to ensure power capacity is well maintained and within limitationsMaintain site operating procedures (SOP, MOP, EOP) and any other documentation required by law, e.g. RA, SWMS and EHSEnsure compliance with site held accreditations, including, but not limited to, ISMS, SOC2, PCI, ISO9001, ISO14001Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, fire, electrical, hydraulic, occupational health & safetyPrimary operational contact for customers and local point of escalation during emergency events and day-to-day operations. Issue reports, change and incident notices as required.Attend witness testing of all equipment during commissioning to validate sequence of operationsReceive and review all operational documentation for new capacityHandle provisioning of data centre services including connectivity, power services, deployment, and any additional services to be delivered to the data centre customersManage minor capital projects for customers/internal purposesRun all maintenance and repair vendors and OPEX budgetTrack operational metrics, data and analyse risksConduct regular property inspectionsEvaluate plans and promote operational efficiency, passion for continuous improvement including power utilisation and cost efficiencyRequirements:8+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres (preferred), facilities, engineering operations, semiconductor, trades or related fieldsElectrical, mechanical or building services engineering degree. Solid understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, fire, and security systemsKnowledge of local statutory regulations and requirementsAbility to establish and review Method of Procedure documents, maintenance reports, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, CAPEX/OPEX budget forecasts/reports and O&M manualsAble to read and comprehend single line diagramsExperience running 3rd party service providers; setting and managing critical metrics, negotiating contracts and pricing for servicesFamiliarity with Customer Portals, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, CAD is a plusGood leadership and experience in supervising small teams of technical staffStrong customer centric approach, and ability to drive front-line staff attitude changeAbility to deliver effective presentationsThe AirTrunk CultureWorking at AirTrunk is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fast-track your career and amplify your impact.
