Investment and Risk Manager/ Assistant Manager Client Description Our client, a well-known international trading company, is urgently seeking an experienced Investment and Risk Manager/ Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. Job Description Engages in regular research and reading to stay apprised about the state of the financial markets and general risk management. Works closely with investment analysts to assess financial information and investment opportunities. Presents investment opportunities and related analysis while pitching proposed courses of action in meetings with clients. Makes decisions about financial and investment opportunities on behalf of clients. Meets with an investment team, including analysts and other managers, to stay up-to-date about market situations and company decisions that may impact one another. Develops relationships with clients and expands the client network in professional and social settings. Job Requirements University degree or above, preferably with a major in finance, accounting, risk management, or a business-related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years of investment and financing or audit experience. Good knowledge of financing procedures and abilities to conduct financial analysis and modeling are highly preferable. Strong business sense and detail-oriented, with the ability to spot variances, analyze, explain, and report to the management. Good analytical and modeling skills, strong attention to detail, and an interest in deal structuring. Strong problem-solving skills and able to provide recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Strong time management and communication skills. Self-motivated, ability to work to tight deadlines, able to multi-task and prioritize.
