Manager – IT Network Infrastructure (CAST-240701) Hong Kong

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our client, a local public organization, as an Assistant Manager for their network infrastructure. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading and maintaining the Wi-Fi network systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and optimal performance. The successful candidate will leverage their strong technical background in Wi-Fi technology, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Contributions:Lead and manage the organization's Wi-Fi network infrastructure, overseeing connectivity, security, and performance.Develop and implement Wi-Fi network strategies and standards, aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals.Conduct regular assessments and optimization of Wi-Fi coverage, capacity, and interference mitigation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and design Wi-Fi solutions that meet their needs.Stay updated with Wi-Fi technology advancements and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the network infrastructure.Core Expectations:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in managing Wi-Fi network infrastructure, including expertise in Wi-Fi hardware, protocols, and technologies.Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi security principles, authentication methods, and encryption standards.Proficiency in Wi-Fi network planning, configuration, and troubleshooting using industry-leading tools.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.Relevant certifications such as CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional), CCNA Wireless, or equivalent are highly desirable.This position is a fixed-term contract directly under our client, the local public organization. The client provides comprehensive medical and dental benefits for employees and eligible dependents.
