This role is essential for supporting the bank’s risk management framework and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a deep interest in market dynamics. Job Responsibilities Oversee daily market risk assessments and profit & loss (P&L) reporting, ensuring accurate analysis and monitoring to support effective risk management. Conduct P&L attribution analysis to understand the drivers of profit and loss related to market risk. Execute and assess the effectiveness of the stress testing program and perform backtesting for Value at Risk (Va R) metrics. Evaluate trading limits and contribute to Asset & Liability Management (ALM) reporting, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk appetite. Carry out Product Due Diligence (PDD) and Product Risk Review (PRR) duties to assess the risk profiles of new and existing products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into the bank’s strategic initiatives. Develop and enhance risk models and tools using advanced Excel functions and VBA programming. Utilize Bloomberg to extract and analyze financial data, providing critical insights for informed risk management decisions. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices in risk management. Requirements1-2 years of experience in risk management or investment management within the financial industry. FRM or CFA candidate or holder is preferred. Proficiency in Macro/VBA programming in MS Excel and experience using Bloomberg is essential. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin being particularly advantageous.
