Area Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist

You will be joining our Operational Care Team to add your expertise and skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.Your Role

You will be enabling transport activities by executing bookings, entering orders, and generating all required export/import documentation while liaising with our Customer Care Teams (CCL) and Revenue Care (RCC) teams to ensure all requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner. As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance and regulatory requirements.Your Responsibilities

To create/complete shipment details in our internal transport management system, coordinate with all involved stakeholders, and organize transport based on the customer promise, obtaining DG approvals where required and escalating discrepancies as necessary.To monitor and report on the operational performance of carriers and other vendors, ensuring strong data quality is available for timely and accurate customer reporting.To create files for consolidation (Export) or de-consolidation (Import).To review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions, including clarifying any deviations or conflicts while taking country regulations, export/import compliance, rate, and routing information into consideration.To accurately submit/issue all required documentation within 24 hours of departure in a timely manner.To ensure departure and arrival confirmations (or deviations vs. scheduled) are shared with CCLs.To ensure cost awareness and efficiency through timely, accurate cost/revenue updates, including profit maximization by providing cost awareness to the CCLs and RCC.To support and resolve claims and disputes.Your Skills and Experiences

Your analytical and problem-solving approach, along with an ability to work under pressure and great time management, will be key to your success in this role.You have been selected for this role because you have experience within a freight forwarding environment and demonstrate the key attributes we are looking for in an Operational Care Specialist.
