Responsibility:Lead Air Freight product at country level and provide input to and lead the implementation of functional strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business, objectives, corporate guidelines and policiesFormulate current and long-range plans, objectives, policies and procedures to translate overall Air Freight product strategy, shareholder interests and profitability at country levelDetermine and initiate plans to ensure allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performanceLead development and implementation of products for various Air Freight customers and products including perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation, etc.Lead development of Air Freight product team’s management plans and budgets, and the achievement of productivity targets at country levelDevelop Air Freight product business processes to ensure that the customers’ requirements and service, cost and budgetary guidelines are metSet direction for development and maintenance of databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queriesBuild and develop understanding and secure business relationships with customersReview, endorse and approve carrier performance reportsMonitor processes and systems to enhance service quality and alignment with company's direction and long-term goalsAlign and assess recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic developmentProvide expert and high-level advice on complex issues, benchmark, identify opportunities and introduce best practices for Air Freight product and capacity management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiencyLead procurement strategy at the country levelExtensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectivesWell communicate and influence key stakeholders effectively, develop strong and trusting cross-functional relationships with senior DHL business leadersLead multiple teams in Air Freight products teamDevelop short to long-term (1-5 years) plans for optimizing the organization, function, or job-family and the talent required to company business strategiesSeniority level
