Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:Overseeing Information Security controls and implementing system enhancements;Working within the Information Security team of the Information Technology Office;Deploying and maintaining Endpoint Protection, Detection and Response Solutions;Performing vulnerability scanning and assessment on information systems;Collecting security logs and performing investigation in case of incidents;Supporting the implementation of security controls and processing to align with regulatory security policies;Working with vendors on information security related services such as phishing simulation exercise and performing various security assessments;Promoting information security awareness to the University environment and providing IS related technical advice to different teams/units based on our University's Policies/Standards/Guidelines;Participating in new IS related services/applications evaluation and deployment; andPerforming any other duties as assigned.CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information security or related disciplines;Holder of CISA/CISM/CISP/CISSP or other information security related certifications;At least 6 years related IT security experiences;In-depth knowledge and experience in technologies across Data Centre, Active Directory and Cloud;Knowledge of security products, networking and operating systems;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; andA strong sense of responsibility and an effective team player with self-motivation, able to work independently and under pressure.Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.Terms and Conditions for AppointmentAn attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
