Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Security, you will support the operation and provide security services in M+ Museum. You will be responsible for: Assisting the Security Control Room (SCR) Duty Controller (Assistant Manager, M+ Security). Operating and monitoring all systems and equipment in the M+ Museum SCR, such as access card systems, communication systems, guard patrol systems, intruder/burglar/fire alarm systems, key management, and CCTV systems. Controlling the issue and use of any security equipment. Surveillance of M+ Museum and protection of staff and visitors; detecting any suspicious behaviour and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal acts contrary to the Laws of Hong Kong or acts contrary to WKCDA by-laws and M+ House Rules. Ensuring the accurate recording, reporting, and escalation of incidents. Assisting in preparing reports on the daily performance of security vendor's staff. Conducting thorough investigations into incidents and complaints involving violations of Laws of Hong Kong, WKCDA By-laws, M+ Museum House Rules, or any suspicious circumstances, and submitting comprehensive written reports on all such incidents. Coordinating the initial response to all security incidents and emergencies. Responding promptly and professionally to requests from visitors for assistance. Assisting law enforcement agencies in incident and emergency response. Conducting thorough security checks of all Museum facilities to ensure the integrity and safety of visitors, staff, and Museum assets. Assisting the Duty Controller in service quality management, including inspections and supervision of the security vendor's staff and making records of any misconduct or complaints against them. Enforcing the rules, regulations, and policies of M+ Museum and applicable laws necessary to maintain an orderly environment. Handling and recording found property. Receiving and recording telephone enquiries, incidents, and complaints. Assisting the Duty Controller in the management of M+ Museum events. Monitoring and authorizing the entrance of vehicles and people to the Museum. Assisting with the setup and takedown of special events. Any other lawful duties as assigned by Duty Controllers and Managers, Museum Security M+. You should: Possess secondary school standard or above. Have at least 2 years of experience in the security industry; previous experience in law enforcement agencies would be an advantage. Possess a valid Security Personnel Permit (SPP). Have sound knowledge of security systems, including access control & CCTV systems, security & safety incident management, and performance management of security personnel. Possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation in the field of security. Be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Be able to work on irregular hours or shifts as necessary.
