What you'll do: Develop and Implement Risk Strategies: Create and apply strategies to reduce the company's exposure to cyber threats, resulting in a stronger security posture and compliance with industry standards. Manage Security Measures: Implement robust security measures, policies, and procedures to protect the company’s information from breaches and unauthorized access, ensuring adherence to regulations. Monitor and Report: Continuously assess the effectiveness of cyber risk strategies and report findings to senior management for ongoing improvements and threat readiness. Foster Security Awareness: Work with teams to enhance security awareness among employees, leading to reduced human error and improved protection of information. Facilitate Security Audits: Collaborate with auditors to conduct thorough security assessments, addressing any findings and maintaining strong cybersecurity practices. Stay Updated on Cyber Trends: Keep informed of new cybersecurity technologies and threats to proactively defend against potential attacks. Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Assess new technologies and make recommendations to enhance the company’s security infrastructure. What you'll bring: Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; a master’s degree is advantageous. Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership. Proven ability to create and implement risk strategies aligning with enterprise goals. Expertise in security controls, incident response, and remediation. Experience in conducting and supporting IT audits and assessments. Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Experience working with defense teams and supporting compliance efforts. Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies. Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are a plus. Knowledge of ISMS and major security frameworks. Experience in audit controls and cybersecurity across infrastructure and cloud systems. Solid IT foundation in networking, operating systems, and database security.
