Leading a team to manage resources, maintain and execute policies, procedures, plans and systems in all aspects of operational duties for the trade fairs and public fairs in Hong Kong.Formulating operation strategies and developing strategic and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution of projects.Preparing budget forecasts/scenario analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams to exercise budgetary control and prepare financial reports.Conducting research, observing industry trends, providing strategic insights and identifying new development opportunities.Participating in the development and enhancement of the related IT System.Overseeing the full spectrum of event services including appointment and supervision of service vendors, cooperation with venue operators, and liaising with stakeholders.Implementing ad-hoc compliance measures in relation to new policies and regulations.

Requirements:

A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting.A minimum of 8 years’ solid managerial experience in marketing/business development. Experience in the exhibition industry is a definite advantage.Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua.Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record in operational planning and execution.Strong analytical and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with tight timelines.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with strong leadership and team management skills.

Remuneration and Benefits:The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity.
