Objectives of the Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Marketing Lead, Petrochemicals Asia Pacific, you will:

  • Support regional marketing and product management of Industrial Petrochemicals value chain in Asia.
  • Steer marketing and sales activities with relevant stakeholders to achiever business short- and long-term targets and be responsible for P&L reporting.
     

Main Job Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Materials master in Asia: effectively coordinate the material flow and manage product portfolio
  • Responsible for pricing decision regionally and drive margin optimization. Work with global, regional and country colleagues to achieve sales volume plan target

Marketing

  • Develop regional market intelligence, including supply/demand, market mapping, Export & Import, market price, margin development. Execute market intelligence project, e.g. product/customer deep dives, value chain analysis, competitor analysis, etc.
  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate possible business outcomes, risk and tactical options, and synergize potential business opportunities to sustain the organization position
  • Support in updates of portfolio strategies by supporting on market and competition development, attending workshops for exchange
  • Close collaboration with global team on information gathering and exchanges

Business Reporting

  • Cooperate with regional controlling on business forecasting and operational planning
  • Organise sales & operational meeting and prepare various business reports to share with stakeholders

Project Management

  • Contribute to projects in the regional on sustainability and digitalization
  • Work with supervisor and provide support in projects on-demand and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in commercial marketing, or product management. Work in regional exposure, and with leadership experience is preferred
  • Knowledge in chemical industry, value chain and P&L reporting; in depth understanding of marketing, research tools and practices
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office with good presentation skills
  • Fluent in English communication skills
