IT Audit Manager / Assistant Manager | Financial Institution | $30-50K

Our client is currently expanding their IT audit department and looking to hire 2 IT auditors, ideally they are looking for someone with great IT audit experience with related professional certificates, but they are open to speak to potential candidates who are looking to join the field. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the formulation of corporate audit strategies, policies, and procedures with a focus on IT audit.
  • Develop comprehensive internal audit plans, oversee audit reports, and track the progress of audit issues related to IT controls and security.
  • Provide expertise in maintaining and monitoring internal control policies and procedures specifically pertaining to IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Schedule, plan, and execute IT audit projects and ad hoc reviews/investigations to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance measures related to IT.
  • Identify and evaluate IT-related risks, and offer constructive advice on resolving or mitigating risks and control issues in IT systems and processes.
  • Produce regular reports and presentations for management and the Board of Directors, specifically highlighting IT audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure the timely remediation of issues identified during IT audits, and provide status updates on their resolution.
    Job Requirements:
    • Possess a university degree in, Finance, Professional Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field.
    • Hold professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or other relevant IT audit certifications.
    • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, with a specific focus on IT audit.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT controls, cyber-security, and industry best practices in IT auditing.
    • Previous experience in conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and evaluating IT controls within complex IT environments.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT audit and information security.
    • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and communicate IT risks effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua would be advantageous.
    • Candidates with less experience would also be considered for an AM title
