We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

The job holder is to join the HKRBC and Economic Capital team in assisting to deliver the following functions for HSBC Life:
  • Carry out Hong Kong Risk Based Capital (HKRBC) and Economic Capital (EC) valuations including quarterly regulatory reporting, sensitivity testing and movement analysis
  • Support the team in regular task and various projects
  • Deliver quarterly HKRBC/ EC results and reports in a timely manner
  • Help to ensure all data, assumptions and processes are appropriate, adequately documented and meet all applicable standards
  • Assist the team to develop and maintain the HKRBC/ EC models
  • Assist the team with regular HKRBC/ EC reporting and other ad-hoc tasks
  • Show a pro-active attitude in solving challenges
  • Be critical towards the quality of their own work
  • Communicate their own results towards other team members
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong self-motivation with ability of working effectively under pressure and commitment to process improvements
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • University degree holder in relevant discipline
  • Fellow of Society of Actuaries or other recognised actuarial body
