So, ask us about some of our recent pledges for Women's Equality and being a 'Disability Confident' and 'Inclusive Employer'.ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead a small team of quantity surveyors with mentorship and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.Responsible for developing and implementing robust cost control processes and procedures to support project budgeting, cost estimations/ monitoring and forecasting.Work closely with the multidisciplinary engineering teams and provide advice and guidance on contractual matters, claims management, and dispute resolution.Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents to support the bidding and procurement process.Responsible for analysing project financial data and performance metrics to identify any cost savings opportunities and optimize project margin.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and cost management.Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company by providing input on business development, resource planning, and operational efficiency.RequirementsAn ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related engineering discipline.Be a Chartered professional member with a recognised Quantity Surveying professional institute (HKIS, RICS)Min 5-10 years of relevant experience in the industry, with a proven track record of delivering large scale projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes and cost control methodologiesHave strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills; andThe role will be based in our Hong Kong Office.Near native fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
