OSL Group is looking for a Compliance Manager in Hong Kong. This role focuses on providing compliance (regulatory compliance, AML and surveillance) support to Hong Kong as well as firmwide initiatives and projects, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate would be a proactive individual with strong technical compliance skills and with previous experience in regulated financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Program Development and Management : Implement and manage an effective compliance program for the Group that satisfies all relevant local regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate continuous process improvement and automation projects. AML Monitoring : Develop and oversee ongoing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, including the detection and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities. Governance Development : Work closely with control functions to enhance compliance governance, including the development of new policies and procedures. Process Supervision and Review : Assist in designing and conducting onboarding reviews, periodic reviews, transaction monitoring, market surveillance, and Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments (EWRA) and other reviews. Regulatory Communications : Address any communications, queries, and audits from regulatory authorities promptly and effectively. Compliance Controls Implementation : Implement appropriate compliance controls and tools, collaborating with technology support to address identified gaps. Policy Implementation : Support the Group’s Compliance efforts and work with other internal stakeholders to implement compliance policies and procedures, providing input on requirements and risks. Initiative Execution : Drive and execute key compliance initiatives and projects to enhance organizational compliance posture. Requirements: Education : University degree with ICA and/or ACAMS certification. Experience and Knowledge : At least 5 years of experience in legal / regulatory compliance, preferably in a bank, financial institution or regulated digital assets company Industry Familiarity : Previous experience in and solid understanding of the digital assets industry and digital asset businesses in Hong Kong and/or internationally. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships effectively. Team player : People oriented and a good team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Language: Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
