We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join the fixed income team of our department as Investment Manager. Responsibilities Oversee and monitor all fixed income portfolios and strategies along with investment mandates / fund with both internal and external managers. The role carries responsibility for and gains exposure on all matters of the sizeable fixed income platform with all types of fixed income asset classes encompassing but not limited to rates, bonds, infrastructure debt, securitized credit and alternative credit. Contribute to the development of investment strategies for all Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited's shareholder and policyholder funds, in particular in the development and review of Strategic Asset Allocation and Target Asset Allocation to optimize the risk return profile Recommend and implement appropriate investment policies, fund structures and investment vehicles to maximize investment efficiency, and monitor the funds against the performance measures and risk limits set out Work with middle office and operation team to oversee and support the regular investment management information reporting Manage relationships with fund managers, investment bankers, consultants, Actuary, Finance, Product, Risk, Group Insurance and other areas in relation to the investment matters Build and maintain a sound investment risk framework for all investment risks and ensure high corporate governance standards fulfilled Deliver fair outcomes for customers and stakeholders, and ensure own conduct maintaining the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets Requirements University graduate in business administration, investment and finance related discipline; CFA/ Fellow of a recognized actuarial organization is an advantage Proven experience in investment industry in insurance, asset owners or direct investment, ideally fixed income focus Knowledge on both traditional and alternative fixed income or demonstration of fast capability on picking up various evolving fixed income asset classes Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office especially Excel; practical experience in using VBA and stochastic modeling techniques is an advantage Prior experience as asset owner with fund selection experience an advantage Proficiency in both Chinese and English required Innovative and strategic thinker; results oriented, strong analytical; quantitative and problem-solving skills with ability to think "outside the box" and conceptualize solutions to complex issues Excellent communication and presentation skill to various stakeholders Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes RBW You'll achieve more when you join Hang Seng Bank Limited. www.hangseng.com/careers https://www.linkedin.com/company/hang-seng-bank Hang Seng is committed to service excellence.
