Job Title: Senior Consultant - Financial Markets Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Financial Markets team in Asia. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in providing strategic and operational advisory services to our clients in the Financial Markets, Private Banking, and Asset & Wealth Management sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in projects with leading banks and financial institutions
  • Work with a team of 2-5 consultants to deliver high-quality projects
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of client projects
  • Develop impactful solutions by analyzing data, formulating hypotheses, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Transform data into meaningful insights and solutions
  • Ensure a hands-on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high-standard client delivery, content development, and business development
  • Work closely in a diverse and international environment with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Share consulting best practices with the team

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Actively seeks responsibilities and delivers high-quality work
  • Willingness to collaborate efficiently with people at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills in client-facing situations
  • High-level knowledge of macroeconomy and regulatory environment in Asia
  • Strong knowledge in products and market architecture related to private banking, commercial and investment banking, wealth management, or asset servicing
  • Proven strong Project Management experience and ability to manage complex projects
  • Ability to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate project delivery, and mitigate, deter, and escalate risks and issues efficiently

Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Engineering, or Finance
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience as a management consultant for banks, and/or is part of middle and back offices
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in performance improvement projects such as outsourcing, collateral management, investment accounting, custody, post-trade processing, and related topics
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is a must
