Job Description

**Job Summary**

Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to lead our physical security operations in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' offices and commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals responsible for the physical security of our clients' properties.
  • Monitor security personnel and system performance to ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement local security procedures, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and alarm monitoring, in alignment with global and local standards.
  • Manage security system maintenance, minor project works, and software/hardware upgrades to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement physical security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and deliver security training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on key security issues, risks, and incidents.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in commercial security, law enforcement, or facilities management with prior security responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret business documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Ability to write reports and manuals.
  • Ability to make effective presentations to staff, public groups, and senior management stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networks.
  • Good written and oral English language skills. Fluency in Cantonese is preferred.
