We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Resilience Specialist to join our team at Allianz Global Investors. As a key member of our Core IT Services department, you will be responsible for owning and enhancing IT infrastructure DR, backup, and resilience processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Owning and enhancing IT infrastructure DR, backup, and resilience processes to drive maturity and adoption across the organization.
- Managing critical incidents to minimize business impact, ensuring rapid resolution and leading root-cause analysis and problem management.
- Continuously improving IT services resilience, architecture, processes, and operating models.
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining IT disaster recovery plans (DRP/TRP) to ensure service availability and swift recovery.
You will coordinate and execute IT DR tests, drills, and compliance activities with service providers and Business Resilience teams. You will maintain clear communication between service providers and application teams to minimize confusion and ensure timely updates. You will develop IT services DR dashboards, KPIs, reports, and decision papers for transparency and management oversight.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global team – IT Service Management & Integration (ITSM&I), collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the U.S. The team focuses on the ownership, continuous improvement, and execution of key IT processes, manages the ITSM platform (ServiceNow), supports integration & oversight of service providers, and the service transition of new applications.
Requirements:- Degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, ITSM, IT risk, BCM/resilience, disaster recovery, or related areas.
- Proven experience in IT resilience strategies, crisis management, and major incident handling.
- Strong understanding of RTO, RPO, SLA/OLA mechanisms in global operations.
You should have strong interpersonal skills, motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable to global priorities. Experience in finance, banking, or asset management sectors is preferred. Multicultural, international team experience and collaboration with external providers is also desirable.
