Role Overview:

This position plays a vital role in reinforcing our company's commitment to sustainability by identifying and implementing responsible sourcing and manufacturing solutions for electronic devices. You will be responsible for building trustworthy relationships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to sustainability objectives, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of global issues such as human rights, forced labor, and conflict minerals. Collaboration with our sourcing teams and suppliers will be essential to advance our responsible sourcing initiatives and uphold human and labor rights throughout our value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with RRP Sourcing teams and JTG suppliers to develop and implement sustainability strategies for the RRP supply chain.
  • Lead the execution of sustainability strategies aligned with business goals, maintaining effective communication with internal and external partners.
  • Educate and raise awareness among business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of sustainability strategies.
  • Serve as the internal expert on RRP sourcing sustainability issues for external business partners, support the Sourcing Strategy Director, and spearhead sustainability projects.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5-7 years of experience in human rights, social auditing, and compliance with international labor standards, preferably within the electronics, manufacturing, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Rights, Labor Rights, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English for effective communication; proficiency in Japanese or Chinese is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in responsible sourcing of electronic products and relevant raw materials.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Capability to translate external regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
