The Division of Social Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking talented scholars to join its faculty in Global China Studies and Quantitative Social Science. As an English-speaking research university with international faculty, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
About the Division:
The Division of Social Science is highly ranked internationally and embodies the University's mission to advance knowledge and education. We invite applications at all ranks (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) from candidates with an active research agenda related to contemporary China and quantitative social sciences.
Responsibilities:
- Teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct research in Global China Studies and Quantitative Social Science
- Contribute to the development of the Division's research programs
Requirements:
- PhD degree in a relevant field by the time of employment
- Excellence in scholarship and research methodology (quantitative or qualitative)
