Business Technology Manager

As a Senior Business Technology Manager (Portfolio Management/Investment Advisory) at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business technology initiatives. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced professional who is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit user requirements and perform thorough analysis to inform feasibility studies that drive strategic decision-making.
- Develop and propose IT solutions that address business needs using cutting-edge technologies.
- Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors through effective communication and coordination.
- Lead the development and implementation of Portfolio Management related projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
- Oversee project processes, documentation, progress reporting, and status meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate closely with users and vendors to conduct system requirement analysis, effort estimation, design, implementation, and testing on banking projects.
- Facilitate liaison and coordination between internal users and external vendors to drive successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate and execute user acceptance tests to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
- A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in business analysis or application development.
- Proven expertise and good understanding of Wealth Management and Investment products.
- Experience in vendor management is highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A self-motivated individual with an open mindset, ownership mentality, strong problem-solving skills, and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages; Mandarin proficiency is an asset.
