Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the continuous enhancement, adherence, and administration of procurement policies, product quality standards, procurement methodologies, and systems.
  • Establish a new sourcing team comprising 3-4 direct reports based in China.
  • Guide the team in organizing and managing all facets of strategic sourcing, new product development (NPD), project coordination, and provide change management support for project initiatives.
  • Develop and present procurement management reports to inform strategy formulation and drive ongoing process improvements.
  • Conduct spend and market analysis to deliver insights that facilitate quality enhancement, cost reduction, and procurement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with all lines of business (LOBs) to keep them informed of the latest project developments.
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance procurement process efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Forecast and strategize the company's inventory requirements.
  • Ensure that all purchases adhere to quality standards and are delivered punctually.
  • Manage the procurement budget and provide regular updates to upper management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience in sourcing and procurement management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in the retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management.
  • Familiarity with D365, SAP, or other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Professional certification in CIPS, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, a collaborative team player with a positive outlook, high initiative, and integrity.

Note:
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
