The Regional Marketing Manager, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial marketing strategies at the regional level. This includes executing demand generation and sales enablement activities in the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau region, collaborating closely with Commercial Sales and Regional Marketing partners.

This position forms part of the Regional Marketing Organisation located in Hong Kong, with regular travel to Taiwan and Macau. Reporting into the Cepheid APAC organization, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our vision of enabling access to molecular diagnostic testing everywhere.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing components of the commercial marketing tactical plan, including product launches and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Planning, organizing and executing regional tradeshows, webinars and seminars, measuring ROI and developing programs to nurture and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with digital marketing partners and commercial team members to create assets that drive demand generation in the region.
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams to network key opinion leaders in the region.
  • Representing regional marketing in Growth Room and OPS reviews, establishing and maintaining KPIs (leading and lagging) such as New Product Introduction, Transformative Marketing, Funnel Velocity influence, etc.
  • Participating in setting and controlling local budgets and forecasts for regional marketing in the region.
  • Reporting on local market knowledge, government policies, competitor activities and customer needs to Global Product Management and APAC marketers.

As a successful candidate, you'll possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Marketing or Sales, preferably in the Diagnostics or Devices industry.
  • Expertise in complex, multi-departmental healthcare sales.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with a proven track record of working with geographically dispersed team members, including channel partners.
  • Able to identify and solve complex organisational issues by leveraging resources within and beyond the marketing organisation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex information for various audiences.

A plus would be previous experience in:

  • IVD regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in sales/marketing enablement platforms like Marketing automation platforms, Power BI, Miro, Workfront, Seismic, and Salesforce.com.
  • Understanding of region-wide cultural differences and approaches.

Travel requirements include up to 30% within APAC and internationally outside of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
