The Counseling and Wellness Center, part of the Dean of Students' Office, provides a range of services and resources to support students' psychological health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to a team to strengthen our comprehensive caring network among students.
  • Offer independent administrative support to the Counseling and Wellness Center.
  • Identify wellness gaps and implement creative and effective initiatives to enhance the student community's well-being.
  • Plan and deliver timely measures for crisis and suicide prevention.
  • Enrich student outreach activities on and off campus.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or education, with at least 7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in youth development.
  • Registration/eligibility for registration in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English, excellent communication and sophisticated interpersonal skills, as well as group work and crisis intervention skills are required.
  • Prior experience working with students at the tertiary educational level is preferred.
