Claims Officer, Travel Specialist

At Generali Hong Kong, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Claims Service Professional to excel in managing claims, including coverage determination, quantum analysis, and legal liability assessment.
This role requires an individual with exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for handling claims within authority limits, participating in service meetings with client groups, and providing quality customer services.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate technical claims competence, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and under pressure.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree or tertiary qualification in insurance or a related discipline, have a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling Travel or Accident & Health insurance claims, and be proficient in both English and Chinese languages.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage claims, including coverage determination, quantum analysis, and legal liability assessment
- Demonstrate technical claims competence for handling all Travel and Accident & Health Insurance claims
- Participate in service meetings with client groups
- Provide quality customer services and handle relevant complaint cases
- Degree holder or tertiary graduate with professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling Travel or Accident & Health insurance claims
- Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player, able to work independently and under pressure
- Result-oriented and self-motivated
- Analytical and detailed-minded in problem-solving
- Strong sense of responsibility with a high level of integrity and trust
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Sound PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing
