Job Title: Pan-Asia Research Specialist, Market Analyst

Third Bridge is a leading provider of research solutions for institutional investors. Our content creation business, Forum, produces research that enables investors to make informed decisions. We conduct in-depth interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to gather insights and generate unfiltered transcripts.

Our team of 175 industry-aligned professionals covers over 18,000 public and private companies, applying data-driven factor models to identify investment opportunities. To support our ambitious growth targets, we are seeking an Associate to join our team in Hong Kong and Japan.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to assist our team in identifying and engaging with industry professionals for upcoming interview discussions. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research on industries and businesses in the Pan-Asia region, with a focus on the Japan market, to source relevant individuals for moderated interviews.
  • Engaging these individuals to participate in our research, assessing their insights, and ensuring their fees are within budget.
  • Building a professional network and monitoring relevant markets/companies in assigned sector areas.
  • Working in tight deadlines and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across global offices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong interest in financial markets and alternative investments.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with C-level industry experts.
  • Demonstrable skills in carrying out phone-based and desktop research with a logical and focused approach.
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to work.
  • The ability to work well in a team, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure.

We offer a competitive salary of HKD 300,000 annually, with access to a bonus scheme. Benefits include:

Location: This role is based in Hong Kong or open for remote working to those based in Japan. Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is required. A bachelor's degree or above is preferred, and prior work experience (0-2 years) is an advantage but not required.
