Strategic IT Consultant for Classy Wheeler Limited

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic IT Consultant to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application development, e-commerce platforms, and business intelligence (BI) with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the banking/finance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Establish partnerships with key stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and introduce innovative technologies to address them.
- Participate in project implementation across various stages of the system development life-cycle, aligning with business needs within the Group.
- Analyze complex data sets using advanced techniques to uncover insights, driving informed decision-making and exploring new business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with business users, gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Technical certifications in Prince2, PMP, SCRUM, Agile, or similar.
- No less than 7 years of experience in IT, preferably in Banking/Finance and/or Accounting, with exposure to application development, e-commerce platforms, and BI.
- Hands-on experience with software development life-cycles, adopting best practices and methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, etc.
- Prior experience in implementing and supporting application systems for the banking and finance industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in utilizing tools like Oracle Fusion Middleware, 11g R2 Forms & Reports, Crystal Reports, SQL programming, VBscript, PowerShell, and Excel.
- Experience working with RDBMS such as MySQL, SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, etc.
- Knowledge of Data Mining and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work in Wintel and A|X/UNIX/LINUX environments.
- Solid understanding of IT architecture, integration, and design principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with IT teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach with an ability to think strategically.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin proficiency is advantageous).
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
