About the Role

The Senior Campaign Executive is a key member of our Client Servicing team, responsible for delivering exceptional media liaison and project management services to our clients. As a seasoned professional in the field, you will thrive on successfully pitching client stories to the media, integrating social media into PR campaigns, and communicating effectively with clients, teams, and media contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Campaign Managers and Directors in managing clients and projects, providing thoughtful advice and recommendations on media strategy, tactics, and opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, establishing TEAM LEWIS as a valuable long-term partner for marketing and communications services.
  • Manage communication with select clients, ensuring deadlines and service agreements are met consistently.
  • Participate in business development by supporting pitch preparation and research.
  • Understand and follow the news agenda, positioning clients and products within the wider narrative.
  • Pitch engaging content to journalists, bloggers, and analysts on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in managing press/analyst tours, briefings, and meetings.
  • Review and refine campaign programmes at a tactical level, ensuring ongoing relevance and adapting plans as needed.
  • Deploy rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories in line with client profiles.
  • Research, identify, and approach appropriate media contacts on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and secure standing opportunities, such as columns and Q&As with industry and national news platforms.
  • Continually build a solid understanding of the media landscape across national, regional, industry-specific, and vertical channels.
  • Attend and coordinate industry events to grow and strengthen individual and TEAM LEWIS media networks.
  • Draft a broad range of written materials, including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders, and boilerplates, ensuring a consistent level of high-quality content.
  • Create press materials and compelling content for traditional and digital media.
  • Create valuable and insightful briefing sheets to assist clients with their press communications.
  • Develop knowledge around finding good news angles or hooks.
  • Take a developmental approach to improving writing ability, adapting and refining style to suit client needs.
  • Work with content specialists to ensure a consistent level of quality for all written content.
  • Use insight to create valuable briefing sheets for clients to use during press briefings.
  • Review content drafted by Campaign Executives/Campaign Coordinators, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Use social media platforms to expand own network, develop media relationships, and positively impact client results.
  • Pitch additional digital content, including infographics, animations, and video, to support written content and client aims.
  • Use social media and explore new tools, solutions, and processes to continuously evolve and optimise client PR campaigns.
  • Provide social media insight, execution, and management of related digital activity.
  • Work collaboratively with the digital team to increase the utilisation of digital services wherever possible.
  • Mentor and provide advice to graduates and Campaign Executives within direct and wider teams.
  • Ensure personal objectives are met on an ongoing basis, as well as meeting all deliverable client objectives.
  • Accurately report activity levels and regularly complete timesheets to ensure correct allocation of client duties.
  • Work closely with line manager to maximise own strengths, improve weaknesses, and support individual and team career development.
  • Support the training of graduates and interns wherever possible.
  • Regularly attend TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings to enhance skills and develop knowledge.
  • Track and report on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, and online media engagement.
  • Review reports and metrics prepared by Campaign Executives/Campaign Coordinators.
  • Ensure all account activity and results are reported back to the Senior Campaign Executive/Campaign Manager/Campaign Director.
  • Communicate account performance internally at account reviews.
  • Provide reports to the Campaign Director or senior management team on request.
About You
  • Relevant experience working in a B2B, corporate, consumer, or digital communications agency environment at a Campaign Executive or Senior Campaign Executive level.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven written ability in English and local languages.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Understanding of client business issues and requirements.
  • Highly developed presentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of media: print and broadcast.
  • Understanding of market research and analysis.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Ability to delegate effectively.
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with confidence at board level with clients.
  • Proven ability to keep abreast of current affairs and relate them to client situations.
