Job Title: Senior Global Category Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Global Category Lead to lead our Textiles category. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that align with business objectives, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and developing strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the organization's needs in terms of quality, delivery, cost, and service level agreements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain category-specific metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive cost savings and value creation initiatives within the category.
  • Develop and maintain category-specific policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the textiles categories.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Prior experience in Textiles category management preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in procurement technology and systems.
