About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Symfony developer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and improving our e-commerce platform built on Symfony.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize the performance of our e-commerce platform to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage to ensure the stability and reliability of the application.
  • Plan and execute the migration of the system to newer versions of Symfony while maintaining compatibility with existing features and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance during the upgrade process.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for the system and its components.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Requirements

  • Hold a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 3+ years of experience, ideally within a Symfony developer role.
  • Have working knowledge of Symfony and payment gateway.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • Be highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
  • Be a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Have a strong background in software development, specifically with Symfony.
  • Have previous experience with payment gateway integrations.
  • Have a deep understanding of various integration methodologies and payment transaction types.
  • Have proven ability to design and implement efficient and secure solutions for complex payment systems.
  • Have knowledge of modern development workflows and a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
