The Role

We are seeking an experienced Symfony developer to join our team, specializing in payment gateway integrations. The successful candidate will work closely with our software architect to design and develop applications tailored to our specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, maintain, and improve our Symfony-based projects to ensure optimal performance and stability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage to guarantee the reliability of our applications.
  • Plan and execute the migration of our system to newer versions of Symfony, ensuring compatibility with existing features and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance during the upgrade process.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for our system and its components.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Possesses a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Has at least 3+ years of experience, ideally within a Symfony developer role.
  • Has working knowledge of Symfony and payment gateway integrations.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and is comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • Is highly goal-driven and works well in fast-paced environments.
  • Is a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Has a strong background in software development, specifically with Symfony.
  • Has previous experience with payment gateway integrations and standardizing gateway integrations.
  • Has a deep understanding of various integration methodologies and payment transaction types.
  • Has proven ability to design and implement efficient and secure solutions for complex payment systems.
  • Has knowledge of modern development workflows and a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
