Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Expert in Fixed Income Rates and Credits to join our team at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be based in Hong Kong, with a proven track record of experience in the Hong Kong and Southeast Asia markets, particularly in Central Banks relationships.
  • Solid experience in rates and credit products is essential, as well as the ability to deliver ideas and trade recommendations, providing exceptional execution services and advice.
  • A strong background in fixed income rates and credits, including RMB bond onshore and offshore, and derivatives products, would be advantageous.
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships and increasing penetration is crucial, along with bringing up new accounts to build regional clientele.
  • Liaising with overseas branches for cross-selling and synergy on a regional basis is also expected.
  • Guiding the team to achieve designated sales and trading profit targets, as well as working on ad-hoc projects as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience or above is necessary.
  • Solid fixed income market knowledge and experience, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, are essentials.
  • Being regulated with SFC licensed 1, 4, and/or 9 is mandatory.
  • High self-motivation, with the ability to work individually within a team, is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English are a must, with fluent Cantonese being an added advantage.
