Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Rates Sales desk within our fast-paced and growing Capital Markets group. As a key member of the business, you will help drive growth and profitability for the Multi-product Sales and Execution Desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute Rates products to meet client needs.
  • Assist management with managing risks associated with Rates.
  • Directly correspond with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, and fund managers.
  • Responsible for onboarding new client relationships and maintaining existing ones, assisting with support processes as required.
  • Work efficiently to make process improvements and assist in preparing new frameworks.
  • Collaborate with central operations functions, including Operations and Technology.
  • Strategize to increase Profit and Loss (P&L), requiring analysis of markets and products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role, ensuring all regulatory or company-determined parameters are met.
  • Role model highest standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values.
  • Comply with the Marex Spectron Code of Conduct.
  • Liaise with clients and ensure awareness of internal policies related to your role or activities.
  • Report any policy breaches to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required.
  • Escalate risk events immediately.
  • Provide input to risk management processes as needed.
