Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Manager to join our team at Shanghai Shemar Power Engineering Co., Ltd. in the role of Senior Financial Analyst - Infrastructure.

Our company is a leading provider of engineering services, specializing in infrastructure projects. We work closely with clients across various industries to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their unique needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation for infrastructure projects, including transportation, energy, and utilities.
  • Support public-private partnerships (PPP), build-operate-transfer (BOT), and debt/equity financing transactions to ensure optimal capital structuring.
  • Collaborate with sovereign funds, pension funds, and institutional investors to facilitate fundraising and investment opportunities.

Financial Modeling & Risk Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and net present value (NPV) models for infrastructure investment evaluation.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulations to assess financial risks and project viability.
  • Optimize capital structures, debt-equity ratios, and financing strategies to maximize returns.

Market & Policy Insights:

  • Research and analyze global infrastructure investment trends, regulatory frameworks, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements.
  • Engage with government agencies, developers, and financial institutions to support project financing decisions.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Investment banking experience, preferably with exposure to infrastructure finance, project finance, or private equity.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, IRR, NPV).
  • Fluent in English (native level), additional languages (Mandarin, French, Spanish) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for investor and project meetings.
