Job Overview

In this exciting role at HK Express, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest level of security and compliance across our operations. As an Airport Security Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Aviation Management Safety & Environment Management Systems (AMSEMS) team in implementing the aviation Security Management System and Aviation Security Programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain currency of AOSP and associated documentation by proposing amendments and drafting new content.
  • Prepare security notices and articles to address internal and external security issues, keeping relevant personnel informed.
  • Participate in investigations into accidents, incidents, and irregularities affecting security of operations, using your analytical skills to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and surveys to ensure operational security is achieved, producing comprehensive reports to drive positive change.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of remedial actions and preventative measures to address security deficiencies, always seeking ways to enhance security protocols.
  • Maintain curriculum and syllabus for Security Training Programme, delivering engaging sessions as required.
  • Conduct risk analysis and threat assessments, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive operational security.
  • C coordinate special security measures during periods or instances of increased threat, leveraging your expertise to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain internal security vetting programme, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Support Airline Safety Review Group, Security Action Group, and Security Exercises/Drills, promoting a culture of safety and security within the organization.
About You

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need a strong background in a related field, preferably with experience in aviation or security. Your tertiary education should be in a relevant subject, such as security, aviation, or business. With at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, you will possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of Chinese languages (Cantonese and Putonghua) being desirable.
