As a Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in representing the AP brand and providing exceptional customer service. Your technical expertise will be essential in sharing knowledge and passion with our retail team, elevating their understanding of our craft.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Functions:
- Act as a Client Care specialist, overseeing the entire after-sales process, including registration, acknowledgement, follow-up, invoicing, and closing. You will also take photos of watches at drop off and pick up of repairs.
- Provide client updates on repairs and make nursing calls as part of Client Care.
- Identify counterfeits at the time of drop off.
- Enter CRM (SUGAR) entries, especially notes when direct interactions with repair customers occur.
- Maintain continuous exchanges and contact with the customer service centre.
- Assist the location manager in monitoring KPIs (e.g., Immediate Estimate, CS estimate rejection rate, Long pending CS pick up, Accessories Sales).
Customer Service Support:
- Offer quick small intervention services to AP customers, such as strap exchanges, link removal or addition, water resistance testing, and working order control.
- Answer client questions from a technical standpoint, explaining movements from a watchmaker's perspective in terms that clients can understand.
- Explain the 'immediate estimate' process to clients and propose standard services.
Spare Parts Management:
- Responsible for spare parts management, performing sole spare parts inventory 1x/month during the month and assisting in the 1st of month inventory.
- Participate in decisions regarding regular replenishment of necessary spare parts (straps, links, buckles, screws, etc.).
- Cost control of spare parts in conjunction with Client Care specialists and Boutique Managers.
- Provide trust through complete knowledge of company products, procedures, and market awareness.
- Service clients with a positive attitude and spare no efforts to ensure their satisfaction.
Sales Support:
- Provide floor sales coverage support to front-line teams.
- Promote Audemars Piguet products through the AP House/boutique.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships/correspondence, actively using CRM.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of company history, product positioning vs. competition, company procedures, and market awareness.
- Train boutique staff on movement characteristics, materials, performances of both AP and competitors; improve confidence and credibility of staff.
- Regularly communicate new policies, company issues related to Client Care to staff.
Client Experience and Marketing Support:
- Participate in marketing activities and events, sharing technical know-how.
- Lead watchmaking masterclass presentations.
- Contribute ideas and opinions in shaping future events and experiences for clients.
