As a key member of the Career Center team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in engaging, empowering, and supporting students in exploring and pursuing their career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement career education programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, including career advising, training, and development initiatives.
  • Conduct one-on-one career advising sessions with students to help them identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
  • Liaise with external trainers and speakers to arrange logistics and facilitate career-related training programs.
  • Organize recruitment events and develop relationships with corporate partners and recruiters to provide students with opportunities for internships, job placements, and career advancement.
  • Support university-wide internship programs and sponsorships to enhance students' career development and employability.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development into the academic curriculum and promote a culture of career readiness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Career Center's mission and goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in the higher education field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills to engage students, faculty, and corporate partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and corporate partners.
  • High proficiency in IT skills and MS Office to manage career development programs and data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve career development goals.
