Main Responsibilities

- As a key member of the China Construction Bank's foreign exchange team, you will be accountable for achieving assigned profit objectives through FX, derivatives, and rates trading, within the delegated authority and risk/counterparty limits.
- Ensure compliance with trading guidelines, position, and risk limits, adhering to the bank's risk management policies.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current market dynamics, providing expert analysis and insights to the front-line business units and branches.
- Provide competitive pricing and market information to other business units and branches for the execution of customer orders, ensuring seamless trade execution and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to provide market information and analysis for formulating strategic business purposes, driving business growth and expansion.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Assist in developing and monitoring treasury operational policies, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall business strategy.

Requirements

- A university degree or above in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred, with a strong academic background in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in active FX markets, options, or IRS, CCS dealing, with a proven track record of P&L performance.
- Licensed with HKMA/SFC for Type 1 and 4 activities is required, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- ECF-TM qualification is preferable, demonstrating expertise in foreign exchange trading and risk management.
- Thorough knowledge of business practices and principles, with an in-depth understanding of the foreign exchange market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with different levels of talent within the bank.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Pragmatic with a strong drive for results, with a comprehensive understanding of the PRC financial market an advantage.
