Role Purpose

  • Offer guidance and support to the Technical Publication (TP) & Technical Record (TR) Team.
  • Oversee daily TP/TR operations.
  • Assist in the development of new systems and procedures for enhancement.
  • Manage TP/TR related budget applications and controls, reporting any budget concerns to the Manager of Planning.
  • Maintain close communication with HKCAD/MRO/OEM/Outstation/HKE QSS and other divisions within the M&E department regarding manual distribution.
  • Ensure that aircraft manufacturers' maintenance manuals are accurately installed and updated on the M&E server and engineers' laptops.
  • Administer access to aircraft manufacturers' websites and M&E manuals for all M&E and line station personnel.
  • Oversee M&E Technical Publications, including the E-Library, and manage the publication and distribution of internal documents such as MME, EPM, and ENG forms.
  • Regularly assess the acknowledgment status of service providers at outstations.
  • Distribute OEM documents such as SB and SIL to relevant M&E parties for review and assessment.
  • Update and circulate regulatory documents like AD to pertinent M&E divisions for review to ensure compliance.
  • Upload and activate AMM and IPC data in MIS as per TS instructions.
  • Conduct monthly sample checks and acknowledgment monitoring for AD & OEM document receipt, contacting OEM for subscription issues.
  • Manage OEM documents and technical data within MIS.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager of Planning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a degree or higher qualification in Aircraft Engineering or a related field.
  • Possesses a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the aviation sector, including at least one year in technical publication.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to foster constructive working relationships within the team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Exhibits a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Capable of planning and executing daily activities and assigned projects with guidance from the Manager of Planning.
