About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Designer to join our team at APAC. As a Lighting Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative lighting concepts for our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and architects to create bespoke lighting designs that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Produce high-quality visualizations, including sketches, cut-sheets, and renderings, to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Develop lighting designs from concept to completion, including schematic and detailed designs, using CAD software and technical specifications.
  • Provide accurate budget and power consumption estimates to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Present design concepts to clients and architects, ensuring clear and concise communication of design ideas.
  • Review and approve supplier and contractor proposals, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Participate in site inspections to ensure the quality and installation of lighting systems meet our expectations.
Requirements
  • Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Lighting Designer or Consultant on large-scale architectural projects.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PhotoShop, with a strong understanding of lighting design principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Dialux/Relux is an asset.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual with a desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
