About the Role

The Senior Account Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring client stability and driving business growth. This position is responsible for nurturing strong client relationships and delivering exceptional marketing, advertising, and public relations services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the client's business needs and market trends.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to drive business results.
  • Servicing clients with excellence, ensuring timely delivery of projects and maintaining high-quality standards.

Client Management

  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure client satisfaction and resolve strategic issues or problems.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and our client's business, including various media and distribution channels.
  • Proactively engage with clients to improve existing services, driving profitable client relationships.

Strategy

  • Provide account planning and strategic support to key clients.
  • Direct and collaborate with the Strategy team to formulate communication strategies and roll-out plans.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to inform business decisions.

Creative Leadership

  • Drive the development of effective client briefs for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee project briefings and ensure client approval.
  • Exercise creative judgment to deliver high-quality responses.

Leadership & People Management

  • Develop working relationships with account teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Be the primary point of contact for resolving problems raised by account teams.
  • Work with Business Development to forecast future account team personnel requirements.

It's Great if You Have

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in communications or a related field; industry experience preferred.
  • Team-leading experience and excellent writing skills.
  • Strong presentation capabilities and media relations skills.
