Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and scrutinize new and renewal credit submissions in accordance with Bank protocols, guiding applications through the approval stages.
  • Offer strategic insights and recommendations to Marketing Units regarding deal configurations while assessing credit risks to bolster business operations.
  • Advise on the loan documentation procedures as needed, staying informed on external regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and assess the Bank's credit policies through regular evaluations of the grading systems to ensure they align with evolving market dynamics and emerging risk trends.
  • Support the training and development of junior credit personnel, ensuring their output meets the Bank's standards.
  • Execute special projects as assigned by direct supervisors, department heads, or senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis with a solid understanding of banking products; candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Vice President role.
• Possession of the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) Qualification is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
