At SAFE Investment, we're looking for a talented Strategic Investment Data Analyst to join our systematic investing team. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills and experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to real-world financial data.

You'll work closely with our experienced portfolio managers and analysts to develop actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.



About the Role

Key Responsibilities:



  • Data Governance and Management: Manage data governance, inventory, acquisition, and analysis to ensure seamless data flows and optimal performance.


  • Collaboration and Requirements Capture: Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to capture and deliver data-related requirements, ensuring that our team has the insights they need to make informed decisions.


  • Text Data Processing and Modeling: Process text data and build models, including data collection, cleansing, and analysis, to uncover key trends and patterns in financial data.


  • Portfolio Management and Analysis: Assist in portfolio management, including operational activities, performance, and risk analysis, to ensure that our investment strategies are aligned with our goals and risk tolerance.


  • Research and Analysis: Conduct empirical analysis and modeling on financial data to develop actionable insights and drive business growth.



Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:



  • Experience: Over 3 years of experience in related fields, such as finance, engineering, statistics, or computer science.


  • NLP and Technical Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience with NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction, textual data analysis, and LLM fine-tuning and deployment.


  • Programming and SQL: Proficient in Python (with PyTorch or TensorFlow) and experienced in SQL, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.


  • Interest in Portfolio Construction: Interest in portfolio construction and systematic investment strategies, with a strong desire to apply your technical expertise to drive business growth.


  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, or a similar quantitative discipline and/or information technology.


  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.



What We Offer

We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, and excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
