We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Lead to join our team at ConnectedGroup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and planning new construction and renovation projects across our portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to deliver high-quality projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing design strategies that align with our company's growth objectives.
  • Providing technical guidance to support the design process from conception to completion.
  • Fostering relationships with external parties such as consultants and contractors to ensure exceptional quality.
  • Overseeing project design and planning, ensuring timely delivery and meeting expectations.
  • Reviewing brand management, contract administration, and timeline coordination.
  • Completing ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head.

Requirements for the position include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotel/resort projects.
  • Candidates with international project experience are also welcome.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Effective leadership skills and a collaborative team player approach.
  • A good command of English and Chinese language proficiency.
