Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Executive to join our team at Marriott International. As an Event Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute events and functions, including banquet setup, guest services, and event logistics.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve event execution and customer experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience in event coordination, banquet management, or hospitality.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in event coordination or banquet management.
- Knowledge of event management software and technology.
- Certifications in event planning, hospitality, or related field.
