Commercial Lines Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager in our General Insurance segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, market analysis, and relationship-building with insurance intermediaries.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute business plans to achieve targets, and monitor the retention of renewal business.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance intermediaries, brokers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the General Insurance segment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including setting targets, allocating resources, and monitoring progress.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on business performance and progress.
- Education: Associate Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in General Insurance - Commercial Lines products, with a proven track record of business development and growth.
- Skills: Proactive, able to work independently, strong sense of responsibility, detailed-minded, sound judgment, good analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Language: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Software: Well-versed in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
