As the leader of the Actuarial IFRS Reporting team, you will play a pivotal role in:


Delivering Timely Reporting:

Oversee the production of actuarial actual reporting for IFRS measures, ensuring compliance with the requirements of Prudential Group.


Analytical Review and Control:

Conduct comprehensive analytical reviews and management controls to validate the integrity and clarity of financial reports. Collaborate with the team to identify insights and propose enhancements as needed, ensuring robust governance and process controls are established.


Leadership in IFRS Reporting:

Provide strategic direction in Actuarial IFRS reporting while contributing to the overall management of the Financial Reporting and Management section.


Team Management and Development:

Guide and mentor your team, equipping them with both technical expertise and business acumen, while also fostering their interpersonal skills.


Key Performance Indicators and Change Management:

Enhance IFRS operating profits as a critical KPI, implementing necessary changes in methodology and assumptions while considering their financial and operational implications.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Fellow Actuary designation.
  • Experience in financial reporting and management.
  • Strong business and financial understanding within the life insurance sector.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities across various business functions.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse personalities and cultures in an international setting.
  • Commitment to high standards and integrity.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
