Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory affairs and experience in business development within the healthcare, life sciences, or regulatory industries. This role involves developing and executing a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Develop Strategic Business Plans: Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
- Pursue New Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in medical device, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food supplement sectors.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Secure Contracts: Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and partnerships.
- Stay Updated: Stay updated on global regulatory trends and market dynamics to provide insights to clients.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with internal teams (regulatory experts, marketing, and operations) to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Represent the Company: Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Track Progress: Prepare business proposals, sales reports, and market analysis to track progress and optimize strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting in the regulatory, medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as UK MDR, EU MDR, FDA, MHRA, or other global regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and business intelligence software.
