About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Sponsor Coverage Analyst to join our Global Corporate Banking Division Asia team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting senior members in covering financial sponsors and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare pitch books and discussion materials to facilitate thematic dialogue and origination of M&A financing mandates with financial sponsors.
  • Support senior team members in dialogue on financing transactions and prepare call notes to document key internal and client discussions.
  • Support the preparation of client plans using various internal and external data sources and compiling inputs from various coverage and product teams.
  • Coordinate relationships with financial sponsor clients across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Credit verticals.
  • Ensure appropriate coordination with different sponsor relationship teams, including FI, LAF, and Sector Coverage teams.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience at a leading bank or non-bank financial institution.
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience in debt transactions, developing presentations, and a focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, relevant knowledge of financial sponsors.
  • Robust credit base with strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
  • Action-oriented, energetic, influential, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
  • Very strong MS Office skills with key capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of workstreams and projects.
